Clark (John James Clark) to t.p., finely bound in full leather by Cottage Bindery, blind tooled borders and decorations to spine, gilt titled leather spine label, very good condn.

The book is inscribed by John James Clark (1838-1915) also known as "J.J.". Clark was an Australian Colonial architect who designed some of the most notable buildings in Melbourne, the Old Treasury Building, Royal Mint, Government House Residence and the Supreme Court (Geelong). Clark also worked in Western Australia during the late 1890's where he made alterations and extensions to the Fremantle Town Hall in 1897. Item #97030
