Dumont d'Urville made two great scientific and exploratory voyages to the Pacific and the Antarctic. The first solved the mystery of the disappearance of Laperouse, and the second established that Antractica was a continent. Helen Rosenman translated the official account of the voyage in two volumes in 1987. Here she rewrites the narrative as a second volume. Item #96452
