Group of gentleman, mostly West Australians seated at a banquet in London. The Western Australian flag with black swan emblem on wall at rear with Union Jack. Most likely a Foundation Day celebration with many Western Australians present.

In attendance at the banquet were the following Western Australians: Claude de Bernales (Western Australian mining entrepreneur); Henry Urquhart (Associate of de Bernales in Wiluna Gold Mines Ltd); John Collings Willcock (Deputy Premier of Western Australia, became Premier in August 1936); Also former Australian Prime Minister Stanley Bruce (High Commissioner to the UK (1933-1946) and a member of the Empire Coronation Committee during 1936-37, Bruce was former Prime Minister of Australia).
