Panoramic 8vo, pp. (iv) 37 engraved plates numbered 2-38, each with associated page text, foxing throughout and some marks, text pages slightly browned, endpapers rubbed, front hinge weak, all edges gilt, original gilt stamped red cloth boards, worn and silverfished, edges heavily worn particularly corner, minor loss head and tail spine and cloth split at front joint. Plates good.

Scarce. Ouless (1817-1885) was an artist and lithographer. (This particular work was issued in several editions with a variation in the number of plates.) Rare. Item #79999
