Octavo, full leather binding with original ornate brass clasp and brass corners, raised bands to spine and gilt-stamped title, all edges gilt, marbled endpaper, colour map plates, very small brown mark lower page of Joshua Chapter XII. A Gift inscription, dated 1878 at front. The brass clasp is functioning very well, and it and the decorative brass corners. Near fine conditon.

A very nice edition of the Bible. It is fairly uncommon for the original brass clasp to survive this well. Item #106829
