A very detailed guide to speaking Walmajarri, with over 300 pages of words and their meanings and usage. The introduction details the years of gathering words and the path to publication, considering the needs of the contributers and users. The Walmajarri people traditionally lived in the Great Sandy Desert to the south of the Kimberley. Subsequent events took them to missions scattered over a wide area, including Fitzroy Crossing, Christmas Creek, La Grange, Lake Gregory and more.
