Dezo Hoffmann was a Slozak photographer and photojournalist who was known by the 1960s for photographing show business celebrities. In 1962 he went to Liverpool to photograph an unknown group - the Beatles. Mutual appreciation and sympathy led to a long-lasting relationship between Hoffmann and the group, and hence these photographs from the Beatles' famous tour of America in 1964. The photographs also include the preceding performances in Paris and their triumphant return to London. Item #105894
