Startling Stories was an American pulp science fiction magazine, published from 1939 to 1955 by publisher Ned Pines' Standard Magazines. There was a British reprint edition from Pembertons between 1949 and 1954. This edition was printed for distribution in Australia, with a printed Australian price. In this edition there is a featured novel "Double Meaning" by Walter Knight", and two short stories, "The Boy with Five Fingers" by James E. Gunn and "My Old Venusian Home" by Kendell Foster Crossesn. Item #105871
