Startling Stories was an American pulp science fiction magazine, published from 1939 to 1955 by publisher Ned Pines' Standard Magazines. There was a British reprint edition from Pembertons between 1949 and 1954. This edition was printed for distribrution in Australia, with a printed Australian price. In this edition there are two novelets, "The Crook in Time" by R.J. McGregor and "The Night the World Turned Over" by Joel Townsley Rogers, four short stories (L. Sprague de Camp, Dave Dreyfoos, Eric Frank Russell, Robert Zacks) and two feature articles. Item #105870
