Original printed stapled wraps, with the front wrap illustrated in black and white with chess pieces, b&w chess diagram in text, decorated border headpiece, decorated tail-piece, pp 31 (including original title page and half-ititle page) N.d. (1910?). Toned. Scattered light marks to warps mainly to rear. A previous closed tear along the backstrip has been carefully repaired and restored. Creasing to corners with a very small chip to top corner. Generally very good condition. Scarce.
