Both the 'Alice' stories in one volume, with charming and unusual illustrations by Dagmar Berkova (1922 - 2002), a Czech artist who was known for her illustrations for childrens' books. (The cover illustrations are not hers: the many illustrations inside by her are quirky and beautiful. She apparently did the Alice illustations while she was still a student, and they were very successful.) This particular edition was printed in Czechoslovakia. Uncommon. Item #105489
