Bas-relif rubbings from the Nine Dynastic Urns, which were created in bronze 1835 - 1837 and are recognised as a national treaure of Vietnam. They represent the unity and the beauty of the country as well as the power of the kings of the Nguyen Dynasty.(1802 - 1945). Overall on the Nine Urns there are 162 patterns beautifully embossed, depicting daily activities, the universe, rivers, mountains, and many mages of plants and animals. The present, delicate but beautiful publication shows the animal images on the urns: dragons, elephants, fish, oxen, turtles, horses, a variety of birds, and more. Item #104757
