Tipped-in colour plates. Quarter leather bound boards in original buckram slipcase. Light rubbing to spine, some white paint to far edge of slipcase. Very good condition.

The original artworks by Clifton Pugh and Adriane Strampp were exhibited at the launch of the book in 1983 at the Greenhill Galleries (Perth, Western Australia). The entire collection of artworks was purchased by Robert Holmes a Court upon preview. The author, Kingsley Dixon, was the Director of Science at Kings Park and Botanic Garden from 1984 to 2015.
