Germany: T.J.S.S. and D, (c. 1890). Large photograph album, c. 1890s. 295 mm x 225 mm, approx. Full black leather with raised bands, all edges gilt, gilt dentelles. endpapers decorated in gilt floral pattern. Brass clasp (in good working order). Fifteen thick leaves with apertures for oval and rectangular large photographs, with another leaf for much smaller photographs of small cartes de visite. Printed in Germany by T.J.S.S. and D.. Printed illus "Flowers of the Forest" page listing types of flowers, with name TJ.S.S and D. Eight of the pages printed with colour flowers, etc. Gift inscription reverse of ffep, dated 1897. Some light scuffing to boards. Near-fine condtion.
