James John Garth Wilkinson's interpretations of Swedenborg's writings about Africans and speculations about the role of Africans within a Swedenborgian theology. The book is dedicated to Edward W. Blyden, and the Appendix (pp. 243 - 245) is a letter addressed to Wilkinson from Blyden regarding Christianity and Islam. Edward Wilmot Blyden (1812-1899) was an Africo-Liberian educator, writer, and politician. He has been regarded by some as the "father of pan-Africanism" Item #104320
