Previous owner's inscription front endpaper. Small pencil marks p. 23, o/w text and illustrations clean. Boards lightly soiled. Dustjacket quite heavily chipped, now repaired and protected. Good condition in fair d.j. Uncommon, especially in dust-jacket.
The Hungarian architect and artist Anthony (originally Antal) Rado settled in London in the 1940s and illustrated a number of English classics. An unusual Alice, with beautiful illustrations. Item #102395
