Second edition, first publsihed 1797. Thomas Garnett (1766-1802) was an English physician and natural philosopher. He was, as stated on the title page, Professor of Natural Philosophy and Chemistry at the Royal Institution. The book is a lecture on health, and is dedicated to his fellow physician Erasmus Darwin, grand-father of Charles Darwin. Item #100477
