Duodecimo, original quarter-leather, red morocco with marbled sides, engraved frontis plate (Edward's Decision), engraved presentation page, engraved decorative advertisement plate for publisher, pp ii, 108, ii, Nineteenth-century gift inscription ffep, earlier pages tanned with some off-setting from plates. Gift inscription on presentation page decoratively printed "A Tribute of Regard Presented by thy Affectionate Friend" with vignette illus. N.d. (1822). Edges and corners rubbed, scuffing to spine. Very good condition.

Mary Elliott, nee Belson, (1794-1870) wrote moral and instructional tales for children. "The Sunflower" is a scarce title. Item #100453
