William Morris travelled twice through Iceland on horse back and was very much influenced by the medieval sagas and poetry of the county which inspired him to write his poems "The Lovers of Gudrun" and "Sigurd the Volsung". This is the first edition in English translated from the original Icelandic by Morris and Eirikr Magnusson. Item #98739
