Edmund Blampied was a prolific illustrator of books, magazines, sheet music, Christmas cards, commercial advertising material and bookplates. According to Hodnett (Five Centuries of Book Ilustration) 'Edmund Blampied was technically the equal of the colour-plate masters Arthur Rackham, William Russell Flint and Edmund Dulac'. Item #94951
