An Australian soldier's World War I diary (the original in the War Memorial Library, Canberra). Idriess was wounded during his tour of duty, which included time in Palestine, Sinai, and Turkey. At Gallipoli he served as spotter for Billy Sing, a famous sniper for the Australian Imperial Force. Item #90361
