The story of Cue, Day Dawn and Big Bell, mining towns opened in the 1880's in the Murchison district of Western Australia. Both Day Dawn and Big Bell were significant towns during the gold rush, they are now ghost towns. The author was born in Cue in 1920 and lived and worked as a Postmaster at Big Bell from 1947 to 1951. Item #89278
