Omar Khayyam (1048–1131), known as the "Astronomer-Poet of Persia". His work was first translated from Persian to English in 1859 by Edward Fitzgerald. This edition published in 1905 and illustrated with twelve illustrations by Gilbert Penrose James. Item #100692
