Double-page charts, repairs to inner cnrs of front wrap and tape to inner hinges with binders tape to spine and tape repair to small section upper rear, light waterstaining to borders of one map only, not affecting the map, cloth wraps worn. Printed message from the Hydrographic Department of the Admiralty laid onto front paste-down. Double-page charts : No.2951 to 2956 (6 double-page spreads), generally in good condition.
Complete with the 6 large charts. The currents on these charts are taken from observations which date from the year 1830. The information was obtained from original ships Logs and Documents received in the Meteorological Office from the Mercantile Marine between1854 to 1895 and from Logs of H.M. Ships from 1830 to 1862.
